For those unfamiliar, St Tudy stands out as one of Cornwall's most charming villages, partly due to its unique lack of a through road, contributing to its tranquil ambiance.
At the heart of the village lies a splendid Grade I listed Church, nestled within a conservation area. Within a short distance, The St Tudy Inn, a delightful gastro pub, awaits, along with a village shop stocking essentials and treats like Fever Tree tonic! Additionally, the village offers several picturesque walks leading into the countryside and looping back to the village.
Our decision to settle here, or rather, the village's decision to welcome us, was influenced by its inland location, sheltered from coastal elements. This setting fosters ideal conditions for gardening, with lush growth unimpeded by sea winds. Moreover, St Tudy enjoys proximity to numerous attractions, including beaches, golf courses, restaurants, and the historic town of Wadebridge, boasting shops, supermarkets, and a charming cinema.
A popular outing involves renting bikes in Wadebridge to traverse the scenic Camel Trail along the estuary to Padstow, indulging in lunch (possibly at Mr. Steins) before returning.
The Coach House offers two bedrooms, accommodating up to four guests comfortably, with additional space in the Summer House for two further guests if needed. Thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities like Meile appliances, Sky TV, and reliable broadband, guests can also enjoy outdoor grilling with the provided BBQ. In the rare case of rainy days, a selection of games ensures indoor entertainment.
Rates vary by season, with introductory pricing for our first year set at £1500, £1200, and £950 per week for High, Mid, and Low seasons respectively, with the Summer House available for an optional £250. Bookings typically span Friday to Friday, though short breaks may be arranged outside the peak summer weeks, accommodating arrivals on Fridays or Mondays.

The Coach House benefits from its own drive, with dedicated parking for up to three cars, which includes a charming courtyard and a secluded walled garden, ensuring guests enjoy complete independence during their stay.
